Nick Melesko, author and illustrator of Gooster & The Egg is a lifelong artist, guitarist, and lover of adventure. He has risked his life surfing in the rip currents of Costa Rica and riding down the back faces of mountains.

Nick has spent his adult career caring for children through his decade with the San Diego Unified School District and has been the caring and doting father and husband to his wife Sam and children Gooster and The Egg.

Nick hopes to spread joy, laughter, and happiness within children and give them the confidence and know how to start out on many of his favorite adventures.

Nick and his family live in San Diego, CA and are so excited to launch this exciting new educational series to the world.
